Security Statement
IT Security Warehouse recognises the importance of protecting transactions online.
The procedures for security and how IT Security Warhouse sends transaction information online are described below. You will discover how our policies are designed to protect you. If you have any remaining questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Transactions are sent between your computer and the IT Security Warehouse data centres via the Internet using a highly secure technique based on SSL (Secure Socket Layer).
Information Security
IT Security Warehouse stores transaction information on secure computers located in a locked data centre. Only a small number of employees involved in the management of the data centre have physical access to these computers. Where possible, we encrypt information stored on our computers as a further measure of protection. We use state-of-the-art security technology to prevent our computers from being accessed by unauthorized persons.
Access to Information by Our Employees
In general, our employees who do have access to our databases can only retrieve information about particular individual transactions and not about individual customers.
Our customer service representatives have access to some transaction information in order to respond to questions from our customers. We limit that access to the minimum information they require to be able to provide prompt, high quality service.
Personal Data Security
We are very concerned with safeguarding your Personal Information. We employ commercially reasonable physical, administrative, and electronic security measures and precautions (such as Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption technology that is used when collecting and transferring you Personal Information) to protect your Personal Information from unauthorized access or use and to ensure the integrity and security of your Personal Information. We recommend you not to use simple passwords, and that you keep your login and password private and secure. For the avoidance of doubt it is clarified (and you hereby agree) that we cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage that arises as a result of any failure to protect your password or account information.
